由于氧化鋯陶瓷具有高韌性、高抗彎強度和高耐磨性,優異的隔熱性能,熱膨脹系數接近于鋼等優點,因此被廣泛應用于結構陶瓷領域。主要有:Y-TZP磨球、分散和研磨介質、噴嘴、球閥球座、氧化鋯模具、微型風扇軸心、光纖插針、光纖套筒、拉絲模和切割工具、耐磨刀具、表殼及表帶、高爾夫球的輕型擊球棒及其它室溫耐磨零器件等。
